US sharemarkets declined as investors assessed the impact of the Federal Reserve's signal that it intends to raise interest rates later this year. Technology shares led the decline as Apple shares fell by 1.7% on concerns over demand for its new smartphone. The Dow Jones fell 53 points or 0.2%. The S&P 500 declined by 8 points or 0.3%. The Nasdaq fell by 33 points or 0.5%.
