Market Close 17 Jan 23: ASX 200 ends 4-day winning streak

The Australian sharemarket finished largely flat today in choppy trade, a day after hitting an 8 ½ month high. Iron ore miners were mostly lower on continued concerns of a potential Chinese crackdown on the commodity.
