Market Close 17 May 22: ASX 200 edges higher for a 3rd day

The Australian sharemarket edged higher by 0.27%, lifting for a third day in cautious trade ahead of key data on wages and jobs due this week. The ASX 200 was pushed higher today by the banks, miners and energy stocks.
