Market Close 23 Jun 22: ASX 200 higher for just 5th time this month

The Australian sharemarket rose by just 0.3% on Thursday, fading from this morning's gains of 0.66% and recording just its fifth improvement of the month. A slump in commodity prices weighed on our major mining and energy stocks.
