Market Close 6 Mar 23: ASX 200 lifts for 3rd session

The Australian sharemarket rose for a 3^rd day, with the ASX 200 up by 0.62%. While energy and mining stocks fell, most other sectors advanced ahead of tomorrow’s widely expected Reserve Bank rate hike. This would make it the central bank’s 10^th straight lift and take the cash rate to an ~11-year high of 3.6%.
